Selects the Transmit (Tx) Voice mode that is used during Personnel Accountability operation for the current Conventional Personality.

when the radio is model / option capable.

Digital

ASTRO digital mode is used to transmit voice during Personnel Accountability operation.

Analog

Non-ASTRO analog mode is used to transmit voice during Personnel Accountability operation.

DotRed.png This selection is only valid on a per Conventional Personality basis:

When the Rx Voice / Signal Type field is set to "Mixed Mode", and

when the Talkgroup field is "Disabled", and

when the Selective Call Rx / Tx field is not set to "Encode" or "Decode & Encode".
